Kacey Musgraves dropt op 30 maart haar nieuwe album Golden Hour.

Kacey laat weten dat haar 4e studio album invloeden heeft van onder ondere The Bee Gees, Sade en Neil Young.

On this record, there’s the lonely girl, the blissful girl, the new wife, the girl that’s missing her mom, the angry girl, the sarcastic girl, the Sixties-sequined Cruella de Vil with the beehive, the shy girl, the life of the party, the winner, the loser – they’re all characters on this record. None of them alone are me, but the golden hour is when they all come together and you see me as a whole.

Het album zal ook op vinyl uitgebracht worden.

High Valley dropt 23 maart het album High Valley: Farmhouse Sessions.

 Op het album staan een selectie songs afkomstig van het debuut album Dear Life maar nu in een akoestische versie uitgebracht.

Hun debuut single Make You Mine en de canadese hit I Be U Be zullen er natuurlijk ook op staan.

Brantley heeft een nieuwe video uitgebracht voor zijn huidige single The Ones That Like Me.

In de zwart-wit clip zien we Brantley op zijn motor over de weg, langs de rivier en op het platteland.
Geschreven door Brantley, Blake Chaffin en Bobby Pinson, The Ones That Like Me is momenteel nummer 23 in de Country Airplay lijst van Billboard.

De song is de tweede single van Brantley's album uit 2017 The Devil Don’t Sleep. Brantley Gilbert begon zijn Ones That Like Me 2018 Tour op 1 februari.

Willie Nelson zal samen met zijn zoons Lukas, Micah en Neil Young een rol gaan spelen in de nieuwe western film Paradox.

Dit wordt een western verhaal met een twist uit het verleden. De film wordt geregisseerd door actrice Daryl Hannah, Neil Young’s vriendin. Dit zal tevens haar eerste speelfilm in deze rol zijn.

De film gaat in maart dit jaar tijdens het jaarlijks filmfestival SXSW in première.
