Garth Brooks kreeg sterke kritiek van sommige van zijn fans, ze zouden zeer teleurgesteld zijn dat Brooks niet zal optreden tijdens de inauguratie van President Donald Trump op 20 januari.

4 dingen die Garth Brooks vertelde dat hij niet bij de Presidential Inauguration van Donald Trump' aanwezig is:

1. "We left it up to karma. If Cincinnati goes two weekends instead of one, then of course we are out."
2. "I'll tell you with this whole presidential thing: We got one going out. Pray for him and his family. And for the president going in, pray for him and his family to guide this nation."
3. "Love, unity -- that's what it's all about."
4. "And may God hold Trump's hand in the decisions that he makes in this country's name as well."

Het komt er in feite op neer dat Garth bedankt om mee te doen tijdens de ceremonie.
