Miranda Lambert en Bluebird

Met de single 'Bluebird' staat Miranda Lambert deze week op nummer 1 in de Billboard's airplay chart. Het is haar eerste keer dat ze bovenaan deze hitlijst staat als soloartiest.

In reactie daarop schreef Miranda een lange en gracieuze post op Instagram, waarin hij gedeeltelijk verklaarde: “Ik heb mijn leven doorgebracht met doen waar ik van hou en ik voel me gezegend en nederiger dan ooit om dit lied van hoop met jullie te laten resoneren. Hartelijk bedankt. '

Billboard's airplay chart

De naam van Miranda stond in de tussentijd al een keer bovenaan de Billboard's airplay chart. Samen met Keith Urban en de song "We Were" in 2013 en Jason Aldean's "Drown the Whisky" in 2018. Ze vond ook veel airplay met singles als 'Mama’s Broken Heart', 'Automatic' en 'Vice', hoewel ze allemaal de nummer één plaats misten.

"Bluebird"is geschreven doorMiranda, Luke Dick en Natalie Hemby. Het is de tweede single van Miranda nieuwste album Wild Card en bereikte nummer 1 in 32 weken. De eerste single van het project 'It All Comes Out in the Wash' ontving een Grammy-nominatie en bereikte de nummer 14 in de hitlijst.

2020 hasn't offered a whole lot to celebrate, especially for musicians. But I am celebrating this week. It's been 8 years since I had a number 1 on the billboard charts and 6 years on mediabase. I have spent my life doing what I love and I feel more blessed and humbled than ever to have this song of hope resonate with you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And thank you to @lukedick for allowing me to write this beautifl idea with you and to @nataliehemby (my Dean Dillon ) for bringing it home.
