Lady Antebellum met video voor “What I’m Leaving For”

New Country trio Lady Antebellum geeft de fans nog een voorproefje van hun komende achtste album

Lady A heeft de video uitgebracht van de song What I’ Leaving For, afkomstig van het album Ocean

De song is geschreven door Sam Ellis, Micah Premnath en Laura Veltz, What I'm Leaving For is de opvolger van de vier eerdere nummers van het nieuwe album, waaronder de titelsong en de top 15 single, What If I Never Get Over You die we ook regelmatig op de Nederlandse radio voorbij horen komen.

“I wore out the demo for this song,” alsud Dave Haywood. “I immediately related to it. It’s so hard stepping away from your family the way we do, and that song is such a great, beautiful way of articulating what we’re out here doing this for—our families, and those that we love and the fans that love us, too. This song is a beautiful picture of that push and pull of our journey.”

De nieuwe video van Lady A  bevat een aantal home movies met de zes kinderen van het trio.

Lady Antebellum zal Ocean op 15 november uitbrengen.

Het 13 tellende album is wederom geproduceerd door Dann Huff en bevat een aantal top songwriters, waaronder Ross Copperman, Chris DeStefano, Hillary Lindsey, busbee, Ryan Hurd, Laura Veltz, Corey Crowder en meer. Lady A's Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood en Charles Kelley hadden ook hun steendje bijgedragen bij het schrijven van zeven van de nummers.De song The Thing That Wrecks You is een samenwerking met Little Big Town.
