Kelsea Ballerini scoort vierde nummer 1 song

Kelsea Ballerini is weer op bekend terrein, ze scoorde haar vierde nummer 1 single uit haar carrière, dit na de vorige nummer 1 singles  Love Me Like You Mean It, Dibs en Peter Pan.

Legends is de eerste song van het tweede album van Kelsea Unapologetically dat in november 2017 dropte.

Kelsea schreef het nummer samen met Hillary Lindsey en Forest Glen Whitehead.

It’s the first single from the second record, so it’s super intimidating,” aldus Kelsea. “It’s definitely a song that isn’t like Dibs and isn’t like “Yeah Boy.’ It’s a little different for me and a little more grown-up. And it’s a mid-tempo story-song. It was just important for us to put out something that was a little bit different, a little more mature, so I’m really proud of it.

Wat de volgende single van Kelsea betreft, ze heeft nog 11 songs die op Unapologetically staan om uit te kiezen.

I think it’s just reassuring [getting the No. 1],” zegt Kelsea. “And it also gives us confidence looking forward to whatever is next—we can take a risk, we can try different things and see what works.
