Josh Turner wint Gospel award voor song “I Saw the Light”

Josh Turner heeft zijn eerste Gospel Music Association Dove Award gewonnen tijdens de 50th annual GMA Dove Awards op 15 oktober in Nashville.

Josh nam de trofee voor Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year mee voor zijn song  "I Saw The Light."

"I Saw the Light" staat op Josh's eerste gospel album I Serve a Saviour, het album is uitgebracht in 2018. Het 12-nummers tellende album bevat een aantal gospel-klassiekers, waaronder Amazing Grace,” “Great Is Your Faithfulness” en “Doxology" evenals de cover van 'I Saw the Light' van Hank Williams.
